For reasons explained on another page, first Retinette were assembled in France with bodies coming from Germany, shutters and French lenses. These Retinette were collapsible and seems Retina I.
Retinette f is one rigid 24 X 36 mm , entirely manufactured in France. It is equipped with Angenieux 45 mm F:3,5. A version with collimated finder exists. This very popular camera at the end of the Fifties is rather current.
This model is presented as new in the Photo-Plait catalog of 1957. It costs 18990 francs .
